Our Story
Net Zero Home Builders is owned and operated by Daniel Reres, a San Jose native who’s spent most of his life living in the Bay Area, a licensed general contractor, CPHC, and CPHB. Daniel’s experience began with his grandfather, a man of the greatest generation and a proud WW2 vet, who taught him how to build and fix things at a young age and through his youth. He then applied those skills as an adult and has helped develop, design, and build numerous projects over the past 15 years. Always having a passion for the outdoors and the environment, Daniel grew frustrated with the lack of knowledge and sustainable building techniques in the industry. He not only saw a need to educate and help his customers build beautiful homes but also help the environment, and started Net Zero Home Builders to help homeowners achieve their dream of having a home that is not only beautiful but also comfortable, healthy, and eco-friendly.
